AND THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY HIS FANS AND THOSE WHO LOVED HIM. 

BUT WHEN MADONNA CREATED A "TRIBUTE" TO THE KING OF POP THAT INCLUDED AN MJ IMPERSONATOR...

STORY #2: What do James Brown and Michael Jackson have in common?  The answer lies in Batesville Indiana.

 If it was good enough for the King of Soul… is it good enough for the king of pop?

 According to Eyewitness News in Ripley County Indiana… The ANSWER IS YES!

Michael Jackson will be buried in this gleaming $25,000 custom-made casket - solid bronze, with a hand-polished 14-carat gold mirror plate finish and a blue velvet-lined interior. 

The coffin, known as The Promethean, was the same model chosen by relatives of James Brown for the Godfather of Soul's burial.  It comes from the Indiana -based Batesville Casket Company. Jackson was an Indiana native, growing up in Gary before his family moved to California.  Batesville has a legendary history of celebrity casketing… In addition to James Brown, the company also made coffins for Bob Hope and Wilt Chamberlain. STORY #3: Will the Whitney Houston Comeback stay on track?

It’s been more than six years since Whitney Houston last released an album– From fast-lane to train-wreck; we have watched the decadent diva deteriorate in front of our eyes.  But now she’s back…Her new album, I Look to You…  will be released on Sept. 1ST and will feature collaborations with artists such as R.Kelly, Diane Warren, David Foster, Swiss Beatz and Akon. First this from the New York Post: Al Roker’s Courthouse Twit Caper

NOW THAT EVERY CELEBRITY WITH TWO THUMBS IS TWITTING… it makes sense that the today show would try to get in on the action. But When Al Roker decided to turn jury duty into a twit-fest, I think they went a bit too far.

BIG AL DID THE RIGHT THING BY GOING TO JURY DUTY – but TWITTERING FROM INSIDE THE COURT, and with photos? I DON’T THINK SO.....One of Al’s photos showed fellow potential jurors from the back, while in another, apotential juror’s face could be seen.   The pics hit the press causing an instant internet scandal, and I have them right here for you.

Al admitted he made a mistake, and was eventually received some praise for sharing his civic adventure.   He was NOT picked to serve.  

Now taking twitter to the next level, we have Kimora Lee twitting while giving birth!

Here are the actual twits from Kimora… PAINFUL CONTRACTIONS THE FOLLOWING.... “It¹s time!! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now… Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It¹s like WHOA!”

Happy ending though… CONGRATS TO KIMORA LEE SIMONS AND DJIMON Hansoo on the birth of THEIR NEW BABY BOY.   A first for the couple, but NOT for twitter…

The Obama’s hit Broadway

(Obama made good on a campaign promise to his most important supporter yesterday.)

THE PRESIDENT AND MICHELE OBAMA SNUCK INTO NEW YORK SO THAT THE POPULAR PREZ COULD ESCORT THE FIRST LADY TO SEE A PLAY ON BROADWAY. FIRST IT WAS DINNER AT THE BLUE HILL restaurant,  

Then the Obama’s motorcade zoomed right up Broadway (right past the Diva, BTW) and took the couple to see August Wilson's play "Joe Turner's Come and Gone" at the Belasco Theatre. The actors were told at the last second that the Prez would be in attendance, AND Lucky theatre-goers were able to sit side-by-side with the first couple and enjoy the show.  

But The trip was not without controversy as Republicans were quick to slam the enchanted couple for having their beautiful evening out at the taxpayer’s expense.

"I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished," the president said in a statement an aide read to the press.”

The Diva’s Off-Broadway Sneak Peak -   A network mogul, his aspiring mistress and a deranged roommate with a murderous obsession for reality television

The Obama’s visit was exciting but the highlight of the Diva’s New York weekend was a preview visit to one of the best plays in town… and its Off-Broadway.   I am talking about Our House, now playing at the Playwright’s Horizon Theatre in Manhattan.

Thanks to my friend and former CEO of the Sundance Channel, Larry Aidem, we were taken to a special performance of the show.   It grabbed us from the start with brilliant performances by the entire cast.

The show is a comical satire… a reflection of our times… taking a humorous look at the world through the lens of reality tv.   It features a network mogul, his aspiring mistress and a deranged roommate with a murderous obsession for reality television. Even this play is not without a little controversy as insiders suggest that the story may be inspired by (the real world reality) of a current studio head.  

If you are in NY before June 21, see this play. Great acting, beautifully staged in a delightful theatre, Playwright’s Horizons, on 42 ^nd street in New York.

From todays show:  This just in from Perez Hilton... A Hollywood Hills neighbor of Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt is offering their landlord $27k a month to kick his terrible tenants out! That's $5,000.00 MORE THAN WHAT DOUG IS PAYING IN RENT!!!!
Why the problem?  Just within the first week of moving in, The LAPD made two visits!
First there was the welcome home frat party that got so noisy the police were called... party goers responded by keying the neighbor's cars... classy... Then there was the all-night scream-fest that had the police vaulting the fence... only to have the couple blame it on a prank call that Tinkerbell, Paris'  Chihuahua, had been run over.

Doug's excuse? "This is what you have to expect because Paris and I are public figures."

I say - Listen to the Beverly hills Chihuahua... no mas... please, noooo massss!

#2 Pink Back In... Again  People.com

And now this from People.com. After a week of being out of the closet, Pink is not only back in ... but is also sharing hanger space with former hubby Cary Hart..
It started with Pink  admitting to Ellen DeGeneres that she has rekindled her relationship with her motocross racer man. Since then, the internet has been buzzing with stories of the couple's renewed romance...
It was a long way back for Corey as he was the target of these lyrics in Pink's hit song, "So What"...


"I guess I just lost my boyfriend

This just in from TMZ...  Was John Mayer covered in puckers...or  were the press suckers?

Never camera shy John Mayer is joking again... but this time the joke's on the paparazzi...  The Mayer entourage was out and about in LA ... ending up at hotspot MyHouse. John Left the club plastered... not from liquor... He was covered in red lipstick puckers all over his face and trademark tshirt...

The press had a field day, searching for his latest flame... or flames....  But here's the real scoop...With nothing else to do, Master Manipulador Mayer... decided to punk the press. And let over one million of his closest friends in on the action.
Meyer tweeted to his million plus twitter fans.. "Trying to procure as many red lipstick kisses on my face as I can. Trying to gag photogs and make a joke

"Okay, check it. Just spent the last hour getting the reddest lipstick on me for a gag. When you see the pics of me leaving the club covered in kisses it's all a gag. Have fun. Smile at the things that worry you. Play good music. Laugh. Live your life!!" he tweeted.

To finish off his night, John danced his way out the front door singing "Man in the Mirror," complete with red kisses all over his face and shirt

I n a new interview , Pink reveals what the Diva has known for a long time.  The famous singer told London’s News of the World “ I’m not embarrassed about being bisexual.” Pink, 29, has always been surrounded by rumours about her sexuality, but in the past has always firmly denied she would ever start a relationship with a woman.

As recently as last October she claimed: "I'm not gay so I guess I would not try a relationship with a woman."  Well Diva fans…  now she’s out and she’s proud…

The singer was hospitalized last night in St. Lucia after she fainted due to dehydration.  Just when we thought it was safe to come in out of rehab… Amy is at it again.

According to TMZ.com A doctor has actually ordered Amy Winehouse to drink. Water, that is.

Will the Drama Diva make her St Lucia gig. Word is, yes…

Apparently Winehouse’s condition isn’t too serious as she will still perform at the St. Lucia jazz festival next week. It will be her first gig of the year.
