The Bottom Line: The Synology DiskStation DS1010+ is a solid NAS for the SMB or busy home network, but it's kept just shy of greatness by a skimpy 1GB standard RAM and tough-to-access drives.

The Bottom Line: The wallet-friendly Plextor PX-NAS2 isn't for intensive multimedia server or IP camera use; it's best used for basic storage, for auto-downloading of digital content, or as a print and Web server if you're willing to deal with the wonky bundled software. 

The Bottom Line: The Apple iMac 21.5-inch (Core i3) is the system that can convert your friend/relative/significant other into a Mac-faithful. It has a great design, stellar performance, and a pretty kickass price. For all these reasons and more, the Apple iMac 21.5-inch regains the Editors' Choice for midpriced all-in-one desktops.

The Velocity Micro Raptor will ring your register for about $5,400. The computer didn't win PC Mag Editors Choice but it came in a close second. 

The Kin Two has a touch screen as well as a full QUARTY keyboard. Out of the Kin phones, PC Mag analyst Sasha Segan recommends this phone as the better choice for messaging junkies. The Kin Two has an 8-megapixel camera on the back. 

Both phones run on a unique Microsoft operating system. This software puts social networking as a priority, and seems to be targeted towards teens and young adults.

On the downside the Kin phones don't allow apps, but are still priced like a full-fledged smartphone. 

The display hovers on a pivoting arm and the All in One 200 has a wireless keyboard and mouse for increased comfort during computing.

The machine comes with 500gb of hard drive space and an integrated graphics system that makes it work well for multimedia viewing and editing. On the downside, the machine has poor 3D performance and comes with a suite of 'bloatware' from eBay, Office Suite and others.

The Incredible packs a 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, making it "the fastest Android experience" Segan has ever had. 

The one downside is the camera. The 8-megapixel camera often captured photos that looked blurry and full of color noise. On the upside, video comes out "terrific," says Segan. 

PC Mag analyst Cisco Chang reviews the machine, which he calls "the ticket to portable computing bliss" for people new to Macs, students, or just ready for a laptop refreshment. 

The NX10 has a 3'' OLED display for previewing pictures. Image quality on the display is sharp, with great contrast, and low motion blur. Samsung includes an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens with the camera. On the downside, the NX10 uses proprietary Samsung lenses which means using third-party lenses is out of the question.

The Samsung NX10 retails at a suggested price of $699.00. 

The Netflix for iPad application is available as a free download for subscribers of the 'Watch Instantly' subscription service by Netflix. That subscription will run you $8.99/month.

According to the analyst, "Aperture 3 is a huge steppe from the previous version."

"For Mac users who want a big step up in power from iPhoto, Aperture is a natural." Photographers have a simple interface and nifty organization tools to work with. The geo-tagging Places and Faces feature is excellent for organizing photos by who's in them and where they where shot.

The photo software is sold at the retail price of $199.00. 

The R580 comes standard with a 15.6 widescreen for your media viewing. Storage capacity is 500 GB and there's 4 GB of built-in RAM when you pick it up off the shelf.

The MacBook Pro now comes with the Core i5 processor and a new graphics chip. The Macbooks now use an integrated graphics chip-set that takes advantage of some switching technology Apple developed in-house. Check out the review conducted by PC Mag editor Cisco Chang.

The Asus U30Jc - 1A receives the PC Mag Editors' Choice in the Mainstream Laptop category.
