The Palm Pixi has officially arrived, and if you're an avid reader of Engadget (you'd better be), this device should look a little bit familiar to you. Wefirst broke specs and images of the phone -- codenamed Eos and the alternately-spelled "Pixie" -- back in April, when we nabbed what appeared to be a leak of a new, Centro-esque phone headed to AT&T. Today, Palm has announced that the Pixi -- a tiny, sleek webOS-based handset -- will be coming to Sprint this holiday season. The phone will hit shelves sans-WiFi (EV-DO Rev. A only here), with 8GB of storage onboard (a nice bump up from the rumored 4GB), 2 megapixel camera (with flash), a full QWERTY keyboard, and a minute, 2.63-inch, 320 x 400 capacitive display (guess they didn't get that HTC memo).

Along with the new handset, Palm will offer five artist-designed back covers in the "Palm Pixi Artist Series" -- similar to Zune Originals and Dell's Design Studio laptops -- which can be purchased separately... of course. Touchstone owners take heart: those backs, as well as a separate black backing that you'll also pay extra for, are all compatible with the accessory. In addition to the hardware, Palm will be introducing a native Facebook app when the Pixi hits, as well as new Yahoo! and LinkedIn integration for Synergy. Right now no date for launch has been set, though Palm says the phone will be ready in time for the holidays. The company is also mum on price, but coupled with the news that Sprint will be slimming the Pre's entry point down to $149.99, we have to assume it's going to be in the $99-or-less ballpark. We had a chance to play around with the new phone, so read on after the break for our initial, early impressions.

That's right, someone needs to bring Bigfoot and Wildboy back to the little screen.

Your MEVIO Men hosts Nick and Christina are bringing you the Land of the Lost (Office Productivity), a.k.a. a great way to waste your boss' time at work.

If you grew up watching Saturday morning TV in the mid- to late-1970s, there is no way, unless you were raised in a commune, that you weren't infected with the wonderful insanity of Sid and Marty Krofft.

Bigfoot and Wildboy only lasted 20 episodes in the late '70s and like most of the more memorable Krofft brothers creations it was campier than Ru Paul performing Hello Dolly on a cruise ship with the surviving members of the Osmonds. Which is completely ironic because not too many people know that Sid and Marty also helped create the famous " Donny and Marie Show "...

After all... the Kroftt brothers did like working with puppets.

A year after its debut, the Osmonds wrestled control of the show away from the Kroftts, probably by singing that song over and over.

And Sid and Marty went on to create many more shows bending the laws of probability, including, believe it or not, a Saturday morning kid's show Pryor's Place starring Richard Pryor. With a theme song performed by Richard Pryor.

Most of all though Sid and Marty are best known for one thing. No, not inhaling massive quanities of psychotropic drugs, but for creating Land of the Lost. And to prove greatness never dies but sometimes just goes and takes a nap, a new Land of the Lost feature starring Will Ferrel is coming to a theatre near you.

Wow, there's nothing like a rude awakening to a Tuesday than balls in your face . That's really gotta hurt!

Medicine balls. Soccer balls. Dodge balls . Everyone's game... even the kiddies.

That's right, kids -- it's a dangerous world out there. Beware of flying balls.
That has always been our mantra here on MEVIO Men. Though not all balls are dangerous (although anyone around Michael Butler -- host of the Bangin' with Butler -- on 2 for 1 Jaegermaster shot night might say otherwise).

Proof that some balls are just innocuous... and sometimes painfully gratuitously lame - check out exercise boy and his exercise ball toy .

Don't knock farts, ya fart knockers. Farts are natural. Farts are a healthy part of a working digestive system. And an important piece of cultural communication: Accidental farts can even transcend language barriers .

And you thought Fart in Swedish was something you only bought at Ikea and had to put together by hand. But let's face it, farting is something Americans can own and take pride in. How so? Well, let's just say we invented the drive-by farting.

And farts can improve your health -- just do pushups, pass a little gas, and repeat!

And don't forget, even R2D2 can squeeze a few out when cornered. Cute lil farting machine. Awwww, there are whole neighborhoods of people who are into the Fart Wars, err, Star Fart Wars phenomena.

Rock Paper Scissors ... just one of the many stupid sports you can actually make a living doing. And who better to deliver one of the most stupid sports ever than your MEVIO Men host Christina.

In fact, there are a lot of guys out there who grow up with the dream of becoming a pro athlete ... And then of course for most reality sets in and then for some... the dream never dies though it should, in a horrible, horrible screaming death.

But even if you're not as athletically inclined as say Shawne Merriman or Ryan Howard , there are still plenty of ways for you to become a pro athelete... just pick a stupid sport like Rock Paper Scissors where world champ Sean Sears walked away with a cool 50 grand for taking the belt.

Or for those of you more gastronomically inclined there's always competive eating . World champ Joey Chestnut won $30 Gs participating in just two events.

Though its hard to say how much replacing his intestines will cost him. And believe it or not the world texting champion Nathan Schwartz walked away with $50 grand.

Far be it from us to be sensitive enough to realize that making fun of drunk people is a bad experience. For instance, we've found a drunk that mistakes a breathalizer device as a flask. If it were still cool to use "FAIL", we'd say Breathalizer Fail . But it's not, so we won't.

Who better to bring you the news on booze but your MEVIO Men host Christina . That's right when it comes to drinkin' MEVIO Men is your designated driver for fun and adventure. Just make sure you don't throw up in the back of our car or end up like this , y'know, drunk.

However, we all know that MEVIO Men drink with some dignity and class -- by holding up a solid pinky while drinking. Luckily for you Playboy dot com has a new quite safe for work column on their site called The Imbiber that is all about drinking, bars and getting drunk.

But nowhere is noir more alive than on the internet where the next generation of hard-boiled authors are being born like Seth Harwood who took his love of podcasting his noir fiction and turned it into a book deal with Random House.

Well, it's your lucky day here on MEVIO Men -- cause we're all about the ass today. Well, more like the mule but that's perfectly fine, right?

Your MEVIO Men hosts Nik and Christina are talking movie trailers -- and that doesn't necessarily mean blockbusters. For instance, we've got a major mule movie, Tommy and the Cool Mule starring onetime gangsta rapper ICE-T and Kevin Sorbo. Seriously.

From the looks of that, the recession is hitting everyone hard, including ICE-T and Kevin Sorbo. And even though Tommy and the Cool Mule is the kind of trailer you can't take your eyes off of... like a massive car wreck, it breaks the cardinal rule of trailers in that we've probably already seen all the good scenes in the movie. A good trailer should tell you just enough... a tease - like this one for The Mummy .

That's right the original trailer for the 1932 classic "The Mummy" starring Boris Karloff. How cool is that? Pretty cool.. but not as cool as this... Pam Grier as "Foxy Brown" .   Rrrrrrrrrr! or maybe Mmmmmm, which are ironically the same words you would utter when eating a deep fried twinkie.

And if you love movie trailers as much as I do, you're going to love these three brand new hot ones for The Orphan , The Hangover and Harry Potter ...

Are you all a'twitter about Twitter? Joseph Jaffe on his new show JJTV poses a pretty good question and chances are if you're the Internet-video-watching demographic you're probably already on Twitter but it begs the question: Has Twitter jumped the shark ?

It's getting a ton of attention thanks to Ashton Kutcher and Oprah, meaning the cool in Twitter (if there ever was any) is dead .

Though I suppose we're still okay for now until all of our parents sign up for accounts. But who really benefits from 140 character bursts of micro-bloggy goodness? Is this even a decent brand building tool ?

So while Twitter may be the "soup du jour" soon to possibly join other web fads like Second Life, Napster, Geocities and Pets.com, there's no denying that it's fun so I say we stop taking it so seriously and enjoy it... (lifts up phone, types). That's good, I should Tweet that.

Your MEVIO Men host Christina poses that important question... Why exactly do things suck more on TV?

The safe for the airwaves edit of Sam Jackson's famous line from Snakes on a Plane speaks for itself. By why does network TV play it so safe? Well, simply speaking, it's because they have to account of their advertisers. TV networks are such wussies they'd never even show something as tame as this Viagara commercial spoof .

Instead they give you happy go lucky families drinking high fructose corn syrup which is known to accelerate diabetes and obesity and then they try to scare you with stuff like this Pee Wee Herman on Crack , that is, Pee Wee Herman PSA decrying crack PSA.

Yes, boy clown sex offenders telling you not to smoke crack. Which is totally ridiculous because we all know that crack is awesome! It's just one more thing that the networks want to lie to you about so instead you'll buy Acme canned cat food instead of learning the correct way to kidnap runaways and grind them up to feed your pet.

It's all lies intended to dumb us down. At least in Japan, they do TV kind of right . There's nothing safe in that show.

Ahhh, nuts! That's gotta hurt. So don't be seduced by TV's impish siren song because we can rot your brain right here without you having to do anything like get up or slap one of your flippers against the remote.

Today on Mevio Men, we're separating the burger fanatics from the burger virgins with this somewhat bizarre Burger King ad campaign known as " Whopper Virgins ".

The idea being to catch the expressions of people living in cultures where running water and electricity are barely available as they experience the artery-clogging joy that is fast food. And who says Americans don't care about other cultures. And why not make eating our greatest export because here in America, it's also a competitive sport shown on TV with Nathan's 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest

I'm guessing ESPN now stands for " Eat, Spew and Pass a Napkin "... Yuck. And if gross eating isn't enough for today then how about just eating something gross.

Freddie Kruger is coming back ... And you'll never guess who's playing him next.

Some monsters and villains are so horrible that once you see them, you never ever forget. I'm talking about Jason Vorhees. Darth Vader. Dick Cheney. Wall St. CEOs. You know, really horrible, horrible creatures.

So it's no wonder that Hollywood will take something you love to let make you squirm and beat you over the head with it until you're sick of it... only to resurrect it from the cinematic grave for another go round.

Rob Zombie reinvented the Halloween franchise and is now working on H2, the sequel and now New Line Cinema is bringing back one of its biggest bad guys of all time... Freddie Kruger starring none other than Jackie Earle Haley as the man with the bladed glove.

And who is Jackie Earle Haley , you ask? Three words: Bad News Bears

Jackie was already a veteran of the biz by this time but it was 1976's memorable turn as bad boy Kelly Leak that became his breakout role . Jackie starred in all three Bad News Bears movies and then in the 1979 hit Breaking Away with a young Dennis Quaid.

What mostly followed were some pretty forgettable roles in forgettable movies including 1993's Maniac Cop 3... Yeah, I never saw it either. And Haley's career came to a standstill for 13 years afterwards. According to Haley, "The roles that were coming to me as a young adult were not that great, but I was taking them anyway to pay the rent. And the more bad roles in bad movies I took, the less anybody wanted me for a good role in a good movie."

Then in 2006, Jackie's phone started ringing again and it was his remarkable turn earlier this year as the masked character Rorschach that has tongues wagging.

And it was because of that performance that New Line has cast him behind the mask of Freddie Kruger in a reboot of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise coming to theaters next year. We can't wait to see it -- and of course, you can expect a 1st Look of the movie, right here.

It's Seth Rogan Day... Yay!!!!

Is there any comic actor on the planet hotter right now than Seth Rogan? Not likely. And today, your host Brittney Albright has a Mevio Men special report on one of the funniest guys in film right now.

It wasn't too long ago that a completely unknown Seth Rogan was cast as schlubby stoner Ken in Paul Feig short-lived TV masterpiece Freaks and Geeks. Get a good look at some early footage here of familiar faces James Franco and Jason Seagel.

And it wasn't just audiences that discovered Rogan's sense of detached cool because shortly afterwards, he would join Freaks and Geeks writer Judd Apatow in building one of the best known comic dynasties in Hollywood. In fact, let's take a look at at Rogan's top 5 movies over the past few years and just try to tell us these aren't the most laugh-inducing flicks you've seen lately.

Not a whole lot of people know that Rogen actually wrote Superbad with his boyhood friend Evan Goldberg. Funny stuff.

And now, even after lending his voice to blockbuster animated features Horton Hears a Who, Kung Fu Panda and the just released Monsters Vs. Aliens, Rogan is back in full live action comedic form as bi-polar mall security guard Ronnie Bernhardt in this week's new release Observe and Report. Your MEVIO Men hosts Nick and Christina stroll down 1-900 memory lane. It used to be that the best part of late night TV were all of the crazy commercials for 900 numbers .

Or as we say in America... phone sex. But now with the internet, there's really no reason for sleazy $3 a minute phone chat providers to make those ads that were sure to make you pick up a phone and connect with other "lonely" singles like you , especially the ones that would stare into the camera as if they were stealing your very soul.

Wow that looked like Adam Curry. Err, anyway, nobody talks about the downside of the demise of the late night phone sex commercial. It used to be that struggling actors fresh off the bus in Hollywood would at least have this safety net before having to turn to doing porn.

Take a look at this now famous face shilling for a singles hotline. Yes, Evangeline Lily from Lost has a tape that will haunt her forever. Kind of like the one of Nick with Crisco and the hand puppet.

Your MEVIO Men hosts Nick and Christina probably should have mentioned it was footage of European Race Car driver Ricardo Patrese showing his wife exactly what he does at work.

If she had seen these race car crashes , she probably never would have gotten into the car.

How many of those behind the wheel do you think were women drivers? None, but we just couldn't resist this montage of women drivers , probably pieced together by a very bad man driver.

I'm sure we could troll around on the net and find videos of men who can't park either but that wouldn't be as interesting. Especially since the hot ones get to pose for swimsuit layouts -- as in this Danica Patrick Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition .

But back to basketball. If you combine a hoop with a trampoline in your backyard, you're liable to end up in a very bad spot. Just watch.

Nik got a little trick up his sleeve. He says one thing and means another, which turns into subtitles for the viewer. Too bad for Nik that Christina knows how to read subtitles and peers into the very essence of Nik's rather one-dimensional soul.

Not every guy like Nik needs subtitles, but perhaps the hot numbers in our episode could use a few.

It's pretty bad out there for women but luckily you don't have to be a nerd to find someone to love. Take Geek2Geek where there's a whole lotta textual tension, or Trek Passions where you'll learn the language of love and the language of Klingon and..., or Sweet on Geeks where it's brains not brawns.

Odds are, those are the people responsible for making the dumb laws in this country. Did you know in California it is illegal to shoot any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless of course, it is a whale! And in Idaho, it's illegal for a man to give his sweetheart a box of candy weighing less than fifty pounds -- too bad that's not a California law.

Our host Nik has a lil bro-mance with The Rock. Nik's into the wrestling -- maybe a little TOO into his wrestling. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Born May 2nd 1972, played college football at U Miami. Nine time heavyweight wrestling champion. Seven with the WWE and two with WCW. Nik knows his every move.

What Happens in Vegas Shows Up on the Net

How do you put the "Sin" in "Sin City"? Just get yourself to a pool party at one of the major hotels in Vegas.

That's right, Vegas hotties by the pool.

DJ’s, loud music, swim up bars and lots and lots of exposed flesh. Vegas pools are like daytime nightclubs and yes, they do put extra chlorine in the water, especially the pool scene at the Hard Rock. It’s called “Rehab” and it goes off every Sunday afternoon. Since 2002, it’s been Sin City’s biggest and rowdiest. Cable network TruTV even launched a reality show about the weekly skin fest.

Word is getting into Rehab isn’t cheap either. If you don’t have a cabana, if you don’t know anybody or are on anybody’s list you’re going to pay anywhere from $40 to $100 bucks to get in and once you’re inside it’s gonna cost you $18 for a drink or $400 for a bottle. And if you do have a cabana it’s going to cost you anywhere from two to twelve grand. So to be honest, it’ll cost you about as much as... actual rehab.

Then there's the “Bare” Las Vegas pool party at the Mirage offers “European Style” sunbathing, if you know what I mean.

And the cheapest Vegas pool party can be found at the Venus behind Ceasar’s Palace where a Jackson will get you in through the front door.
