DigiVegas celebrates it's 100 episode!

What better way to celebrate the 100 show of an interview
program than by sitting down and having a few drinks with a member
of a band named Dialog, eh? Get it?

Dialog: A Conversation between two or more persons.

George George, the bassist joins me for one of the most
entertaining conversations I've had since interviewing The Big Beat
Battalion on episode 043 [1],

George is a snappy dresser (he's the one wearing the kilt), a
tremendous bass player, and an all around great guy. BUT BE
WARNED: HE CURSES LIKE A SAILOR! So don't listen to this
anywhere or in a way that could get you into trouble (around kids,
sensitive adults, at work, etc.) Don the ear buds or earphones, or
what have you, and enjoy music and conversation with Dialog from the
London area. They rock!

Check them out on their myspace page [2].

What could possibly be the most heinous, despicable thing you
could ever do to a group of musicians short of cutting off their
fingers?
After a recent gig, Las Vegas band The Stript had their band van
stolen with all their gear in it: Guitars, amps, drums,
everything!

Jillian's [1], on Fremont Street will be hosting a benefit concert
this Sunday nightJune 29th, to help them recoup some of their
losses. It's going to take a hell of a lot more though, than just
one show to make it all up, so please do whatever you can to help,
even if you don't live in Las Vegas.

Even if you can't make it to the show, please donate a couple
bucks by clicking on the link below.

Oh yeah, the show...DigiVgeas. Brian Lerner, the guitar player
from the band joins me this week, for a bit of music and
conversation.

You can check The Stript out on their Myspace Page [2].

I'm really starting to enjoy this relationship I'm building with
Fox. I like the show The Next Great American Band [1]and all, but
I'm always left unsatisfied. I never get to see a band for more
than a few seconds during interview footage, and only for a minute
and a half while they're on stage. Granted, they have a lot of
ground to cover in a very short amount of time, so I'm happy to be
able to talk to these bands as long as we want here on the podcast.

	   [2]

My guests this week are members of Cliff Wagner and the Old Number
7 [3]. I was very surprised they were voted off the show so soon.
I thought they definitely had the talent and the chops to make it
much further than they actually did. I think their rendition of
"Poison Ivy" was great. I really liked the way they turned Billy
Joel's "You May Be Right" into something of their own.

Cliff, Devitt, and Craig join me for episode 068. You can
download the show's MP3 FILE here. (right click and "save as...")

You can buy their music by clicking on this LINK [4].

Their Website [5], and their Myspace Page. [6]

And finally, I don't go much for special shows, like holiday
specials, or year-end retrospectives, so I won't bore you with one of
those. I do want to say to everyone though: Have a merry
Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate. Also, have a happy
and prosperous New Year.

	-Paulie
