Ford Goes Green

We take a behind the scenes look at Fords solar powered car dealership located in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Sunrise Ford has Solar panels ultra thin solar panels that power most of the dealership by day. They use no batteries during the process relying on the power company on a very small amount to power the entire dealerhship. On Sundays, the power meter actually runs backwards and the power company pays the dealership for the electricity it generates.
