This week, I am going back to England. Afterwards I will be doing product reviews on a mobile wifi rental,

a Quad phone service, the Savoy Hotel in Blackpool, and I'll be giving a report on the Legends dinner at

Fratton Park for the induction of former players into Portsmouth FC Hall of Fame.

In Oct, I will be going to a Super Secret Location in October. And am having a contest to see who can

guess where that will be... clues will be given by audioboo, and the prize package will include a variety

of gifts from around the world (we aren't talking a lot of money here, just more stuff!)

My musical guests for my last show on the Mevio feed are the Clumsy Lovers, a Celtic Bluegrass band from

British Columbia who concider Boise their second home. They often play gigs in Idaho, in Moscow, Ketchum

and Boise.

Back in 2002, my oldest son travelled with them on tour as their sound engineer, and picked up a little

guitar knowledge from Trevor from the band.If you EVER get a chance to see them at a concert venue or a

festival, GO!Do not hesitate to take the children. There shows are for all ages and you won't be in your

seats long. The Clumsy Lovers music forces you out of your seat to bounce, sway and dance through the

entire show!!

Since I'm recording the audio part of this on audioboo, if you want the music too, you'll have to wait for

the complete episode in a little while.

Mini Cab tour of Ocho Rios Jamaica (Jamaica Pt 1)

Yesterday we hired a mini-cab in Ocho Rios, Jamaica to give us a short tour of the area. This shows the "cave man" and the "stilt man" while driving through "Ferngully".

An uncut, yet family (mine, lol) friendly interview with my nephew Michael Dorsher, who lives and works in Hong Kong. We talk about the weather, of course, Disneyland Hong Kong, Cricket, Comedy in HK, The Dark Knight and what to see and do as a tourist.

Idaho Pines Hot Buttered Rum

Bay Area newgrass jam band Hot Buttered Rum have been described as a rock band playing bluegrass instruments (the bandmembers themselves call what they do "high altitude California bluegrass"), and with musical influences ranging from blues, rock, and jazz to Celtic and old-time string band music from the Appalachians, the group could almost be termed bluegrass fusion. The group was formed after Zachary Matthews (mandolin, fiddle) and bassist Bryan Horne's bandOversoul did some unplugged gigs. Matthews and Horne liked the sound and energy of playing acoustic, and after a one-month hiking tour of the Sierras in 1999 with Nat Keefe (guitar) and Erik Yates (banjo, guitar, Dobro, ukulele, flute, clarinet, sax, accordion, piano), the four returned to the Bay Area and formed the Hot Buttered Rum String Band, adding Aaron Redner (fiddle, mandolin) as a fifth member. The group released a live album, Live at the Freight and Salvage, in 2002, followed in 2004 by In These Parts, which was recorded in Fairfax by engineer Dave Dennison. The group shortened its name to Hot Buttered Rum for 2006's Well-Oiled Machine, which was produced by Mike Marshall and featured guest spots from Peter Rowan and Darol Anger.
