The boat is back and ready for cruising. The Skipper and Boatwench head over to Bremerton and discuss all the work done to the Never Satisfied. The show is short and would have been longer if the Skipper hadn't dropped the IRiver while recording a ride in Larry & Lynette's dinghy and lost the recording. Crap!!! Oh well enjoy a shorty!!

The Skipper and Boatwench depart for a week long vacation on the boat. The first leg of the journey takes them to the Bremerton Marina which has been newly remodeled and expanded. The also take their Boston Whaler across the water to the town of Port Orchard. While docking at Bremerton, they hear a horrifying radio call. you'll have to listen to find out!!! The Boatwench shoots a video of the Whaler while being towed. Check it out at the link below.

They head up to Seattle and travel through the Ballard Locks for the first time and go into Lake Washington for the Opening Day Celebration! Lots of ramblin and partying and the Skipper almost gets into a fight. Have a listen!!

The Skipper and Boatwench started out on a voyage to Gig Harbor to meet up with friends Larry and Lynette but had to abort when their starboard engine died. They had to limp back to home port on one engine and had to get help docking. Larry and Lynette boated over and we all sat on their boat and got hammered!!

The Skipper and Boatwench voyaged to the beautiful port town of Poulsbo, WA over the Labor Day weekend. There we met Larry and Lynette and also dropped anchor for the very first time. This was to be the last voyage before turning her over to the boat yard for her big repairs. Listen in to say bon voyage!!!!

Oh Boy!!!! What a week we just had! Engine leaks, wasted vacation, being rammed by an 18 ton sail boat, rigging up temporary repairs, what else!! Can you think of any thing else that could happen. I guess we can say nobody was hurt and the boat is still afloat!!!

The Boatwench is back and her and the Skipper take a brunch cruise around the Commencement Bay and Hylebos waterway. The Skipper is recovering from an injury, listen to find out what happened. They test out their new laptop which will be the main source for electronic navigation in the coming future. They pass by the old broken down Kalakala Ferry. Listen as the Boatwench, who is at the helm, gets a little nervous as a barge comes at them, giving them little room in the waterway!!!

We had to make a break a day early back to tacoma due to bad weather. We caught some good waves on the way back and also alot of water came into the boat due to leakage and an open window in the head. Stupid mistakes were made on this trip and we had to reflect on them and lear not to make them again!!!

We made it to Edmonds and the Skipper had another horrific docking experience. So horrific that Larry had to jump aboard to take the helm. To bad the recorder wasn't on.... a lot of yelling and screaming. One of these days we'll get one recorded. But the party continued with the group!!!

This trip goes without a hitch except for docking during a tide change. It took two attempts, but the Skipper got her in without damage!!

The Skipper and Boat Wench headed up to Anacortes to get the boat home, but weather caused a big problem and a one day delay. The following day looked doubtful, but the weather calmed and at around 3:30pm, the two and their boating mates and guides hit the high seas and began their journey. What started as a fairly mild and uneventful adventure later turned harrowing and dangerous. They faced darkness, almost gale force winds, small craft advisorys, 4 - 6 foot swells and then one of the engines failed. Listen to hear what happened!!!

We signed the papers after the work that we requested be done was done. Money was wired, well tried to be wired but had a snafu, we'll fix that come next week. The next podcast will be us getting the boat and bringing it down to her new home!!!!
