Hey Adam!
What a great idea this is. Here is my soundtrack. The song was released in 1970 but I didn't grow to appreciate it until I fell love at first sight, with my wife Kelly. It was right before the summer of 1975. We were sophomores in High school. I then went away for the summer to live with my sister in Iowa. When I cam back we both still had the same feelings for each other. We began dating on November 14th, 1975. This became our song and we danced to it for the first time at our prom. We then married in May of 1978. Once again, the song was played for our first dance.

This year we will celebrate our 29th anniversary on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th). My wife has given me 2 beautiful kids, our son Michael who is 25 and serving overseas as a Marine and our Daughter Nicole who is 19 and going to college full time. Now with the raising of our kids out of the way, though you NEVER stop worrying about them, we can concentrate on ourselves and getting re-acquainted again. Funny how you lose track of each other when you are concentrating on your kids so much. I find myself falling more in love with her every day. My contribution to the soundtrack of our lives reminds me of how much I love my wife and how much we have been through together. I even have it as her ringtone when she calls me.

This was written by Chicago's trombone player, Jimmy Pankow, and sung by Terry Kath. After Kath's death in 1978, the band did not play this song for several years. It has since become a wedding favourite and the band has resumed performing it in their current lineup.
