regarding slingbox - I use it for over 1 year already, also internationally over internet. Please note however that there is no sligplayer for your stupid nokia junk, but there is one for Windows Mobile :

... so you could watch it over wifi or cellular networks without notebook but only if you would get windows mobile phone or PDA!
I like in slingbox ability to switch channels remotely and that it adapts quality to the bandwidth available and works fine even with UMTS not just with HSDPA. You can't watch teletext/videotext remotely with it though (for example used for subtitles in BBC channels).
