Short and Fuzzy - the Madeira Chronicles part 4. November 2006, a holiday in Madeira, and an available portable audio recorder. This is Day 4 of our Madeira holiday diaries.

Driving, driving, driving. Back in our little clapped-out Nissan Micra for a thorough exploration of thewestern half of the island of Madeira. Twist, windy mountain roads - tense but fun to drive - the wind farms and wonderful pizzas at the totally viewless Jungle Rain Café.

The recording quality is not great, thanks in part to the hotel room's aircon, the nearby Atlantic Ocean, and the not particularly great recording device.

We're unscripted, have ADD, and don't always make sense, but you just might enjoy listening in. Welcome to Short and Fuzzy.
