Phil Ayoub sent me a disc of demos and B sides, along with the cd from his earlier band, Riverside Train. I play the demo of White Feather to start things out, then talk about the Shopping Cart theory. The first podcast is Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips, then I play Eyes Do Lie by Sex And Patriotism to make up for slaughtering their name last week. Yeah, it's such a chore playing music by a group this good. Next up is Eric Hour, followed by my friend Randall's show, The Loser's Cult. I try to remember everyone who contributed to the opening bit and fail miserably, then Riverside Train gets us out of here with Like A Cowboy. By the way, check out Episode 9 of the Junkie where I interview Phil Ayoub. Such a great guy, and a great interview subject. The first 30 minutes are a bit hard to listen to due to recording glitches, but things get much better after that.
