Adam, Chris Moyles is one of the reasons I started listening to Podcasts. When he took over the Radio 1 Breakfast show, it was like being transported back in time 20 years to the bad old days of Radio 1. I fled, and looked around for a while for an alternative, until I found, well, the DSC eventually.
If you haven't read it, The Nation's Favourite details the changing of the guard at Radio 1, all the infighting that took place. Very funny book, and might be familiar to you as to how you suggest things worked at MTV.

Let's see Adam if you really can stop this patent of Apple. If you really can then you will show everybody that YOU are the podfather and not this pretender Rick Gervais - who no wonder has big number of downloads because full-page advertisements of his podcasts are being published in The Guardian, like this one from today's issue:
