Hey there. My name is Eddie DaRoza, we're at Drai's nightclub in Hollywood and you're watching BiteSize Music News.

SO it's about that time of the year when the citizens of Austin, Texas spend a few days cleaning beer cans from their streets and trash out of their gutters.

And that's because SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST just wrapped up.

Unfortunately I didn't make it down there this year 'cause it sounded super fun.

From what I've heard is a few bands made a pretty nice impact for themselves.

MILK MUSIC from OREGON was one. As well as Brooklyn's DIIV.

What's kinda funny about DIIV hitting with the fans, is that singer ZACK SMITH went off on TWITTER about how much he hate's the festival.

ZACK wrote: HI Austin. FUCK SXSW. There… I said it.

Here, the music comes last. 5 minute set up, sound sound check, 15 minute set.

Corporate money everywhere but in the hands of the artists… drunk corporate goons and other industry vampires and cocaine."

Hey at least they're drunk.

Next up… I don't know know about you, but I'm a huge ROLLING STONES fan. I love the guys. Can listen to their entire catalogue top to bottom and can't wait to go see them when they tour the U.S. later this year.

And guess what: according to BLACK CROWES singer CHRIS ROBINSON i'm just a rock and roll tourist going to see some theme band.

ROBINSON just took aim at MICK JAGGER in a recent interview, saying he's somewhat of a joke.

According to NME Chris said "I felt like the audience at those shows were rock n roll tourists. I wish Mick had a little more sincerity and did a little bit less running around."

He was of course speaking about the STONES recent anniversary shows.

Look it's like this Chris - Sorry that the 70 year old MICK JAGGER doesn't have enough rock and roll sincerity for you.

I don't know one 70 year on Earth who rocks harder. But that's just me.

And finally today… VAMPIRE WEEKEND wants you to hear a couple of new songs from their forthcoming album. My favorite of the pair is called DIANE YOUNG.

They turn it up a little bit. And the video that comes with the track is pretty cool. They lit some cars on fire. Fun, fun.

Here's a clip.
