Hey there, I'm Kristen Brockman from the GoHollywood Network coming to you from Drai's Hollywood and today we're counting down the Top 5 First Ladies!

At Number Five we have our current First Lady, Michelle Obama! Highly-educated, super-fashionable, and strong-willed, Michelle has already made her mark as an excellent role model for the modern woman. And she's still got another four years to go!

Elegant as always at Number Four is First Lady #35: Jackie Kennedy. Jackie's fashion sense, good looks and well-bred charm proved popular with foreign leaders and pop culture icons alike, making the First Family seem friendlier than it ever had before.

Standing quietly by at Number Three is our 37th First Lady, Pat Nixon. From high school teacher to prominent world-figure, Pat made the White House handicapped-accessible, personally visited combat zones in Vietnam, and became the first presidential wife to address the Republican National Convention.

Charging in at Number Two is the always outspoken Betty Ford. Not content to stand off in the corner, Betty raised cancer awareness following her own diagnosis, was openly pro-choice, and came out as an alcoholic during her time in office, eventually founding the Betty Ford Center for substance abuse and addiction.

And finally, our Number One First Lady: Miss Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of Franklin D. The blueprint for all active First Ladies, Eleanor held press conferences, wrote a newspaper column, publicly criticized her husband's policies, championed the civil rights movement, and advocated for the rights of Japanese Americans -- during World War II! There's a reason she's called the First Lady of the World -- and why she's the First Lady of Our Countdown!

That's it for today's Top 5, but make sure to find me on Twitter and check in next time for another countdown right here on BiteSize TV! Bye!
