Jun 04, 2012 Skate Moss! Or, Kate Moss Skate Decks

Hey there. I'm Eddie DaRoza, and here's your Daily Detour from the Hollywood Hills.

You see that huge sign behind me? The one that says Hollywood? Yeah that one.

Guess how big that sucker is. forty five feet tall and 350 feet long. It's been there since 1923 when it was built as a real estate ad. That sign has gone through a lot. As you probably know it originally said Hollywoodland. But have you seen pictures of that bad boy in the seventies? It was a mess. One of the O's is gone. Well glad it's still here, I like it.

Anyways, I'm happy to announce that our buddies in The Dirty Heads have debuted a new song. Dance All Night.

It features Matisyahu. I highly recommend you go check it out on RollingStone.com immediately.

What is it about Kate Moss that makes everyone love her? Could it be that she's a hot babe who loves rock and roll? Possibly. Whatever the case there's no denying there's a global love for Kate.

Case in point - this new line of skate decks called Skate Moss. The designer was having a chat with his buddy about skateboarding a Kate Moss, and waalaa! Skate Moss was born. The decks are outfitted with many of Kate's legendary images.

They're so pretty I'd hate to skate the shit of 'em.

And finally today, when I get get bored I often sit down and play bingo. Well not really.

But with this new Moonrise Kingdom bingo card I think I'm seeing a drinking game!  Who has Bill Murray, Dated Audio Equipment, and 1960s Brit Pop? Bingo!
