R&B singer Brooke Valentine brings a video for her latest song "Forever."

B. Valentine (a.k.a. Brooke Valentine, a.k.a. Kanesha Nichole Brookes) first made a splash with her hit record "Girlfight" in 2005. She started her musical career as a member of the girl group Best Kept Secret, leaving them and her native Houston to pursue a solo career.

Her first album, "Chain Letter," hit #3 in the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart in April of 2005. Her second album got caught up in music industry reshuffles as Virgin merged with Capitol in 2008, and then she took some time away from recording and performing to write for other artists. Now she's back with the lead single - "Forever" - from what will be her sophomore album.
