    according to the official coroner’s report Whitney Houston was a ‘chronic cocaine user’, The autopsy revealed that there was cocaine, Xanax and marijuana in the 48 year old’s system and she suffered a massive heart attack, which lead her to lose consciousness and slip underwater.


    The news ends weeks of speculation over how the I Will Always Love You singer died in her Los Angeles hotel room on February 11, while her mother Cissy is said to be shocked that the self-confessed addict – who once tried to smuggle drugs onto a flight – was still using cocaine.

    Meanwhile, none of the drug was found in her room but Hollywood gossip website TMZ has reported that it’s possible it was removed by the person who supplied it. Whitney’s family released a statement saying: ‘We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure.’
