Bioware MIGHT change Mass Effect ending and WoW on the iPhone?

Story 1:   

So gamers have been pretty upset with Bioware over the ending to the recently released Mass Effect. Going so far as to start petitions, and even complaining to the Federal Trade Commission. Well it looks like Bioware is listening.


The company took to their Facebook page to state that they though they haven’t made a decision yet, they are taking stock of user feedback.


Bioware stated that "At this time we are still collecting and considering your feedback and have not made a decision regarding requests to change the ending."


On the bright side, the Mass Effect community started a charity petition that was able to raise over $67,000 for the Child’s Play charity as a way to get Bioware’s attention.


It’s pretty surprising how much power the gaming public has now thanks to the internet. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Story 2:  

Gamers love World of Warcraft...like A LOT. Well how would you feel about taking your gameplay on the go?


It looks like Blizzard has been looking into the possibility of bringing the highly popular MMO to Apple’s iPhone. Senior WOW producer John Lagrave told Eurogamer that the company is exploring if it would be viable, but that there are challenges. Most of them come down to how to make the game playable on a small mobile device.


Lagrave said that "We won't do it until we think it's decent. But it's interesting and the world is evolving towards that little handheld device - It would be foolish for any game developer to not be looking at that and we're not - we don't think - we're foolish!”


Not sure it’s good to be feeding a WoW addict an easier way to ingest their gaming crack, but if they can get it to work, it’ll be huge.
