The Sun on Sunday to launch next week

And Boxer admits fixing fight

Hi I'm Rachael downie, it's Monday. The beginning of a brand new week right here on hot off the net uk.

Some called it inevitable, and now it has finally happened...
The Sun on Sunday is to publish for the first time next weekend, News International has announced.

An email to all staff said that Rupert Murdoch, boss of parent company News Corporation, would "be staying in London to oversee the launch".

News International shut down its Sunday paper, the News of the World, last year amid the scandal over phone hacking.

Since then, some readers have gravitated towards other Sunday titles including The Star and Express but according to ex hack Nick Ferrari, speaking on This Morning today, there's about 1m readers still out there who haven't caught onto another title and they're there for the taking.

Sun editor Dominic Mohan has said: "This is a truly historic moment in newspaper publishing and I am proud to be part of it."

And in other news, Nottingham boxer Carl has admitted prolonging his 2005 title fight.

The former WBC Super Middleweight champiohtt inning in the fifth round as opposed to the fourth enabled members of his family to benefit financially.

Speaking on BBC Radio Nottingham, he expanded on comments made in his autobiography, published last year.

He said he could have finished his 2005 Commonwealth title defence against Ruben Groenewald earlier than he did. But what he did was not illegal. More strategic.

The British Boxing Board of Control said it would now speak to Froch.

Tomorrow, Adele's boyfriend's rumoured proposal plans. Here it here first...before even Adele! Bye for now.
