The Colbert Report has temporarily suspended production for at least a week, which seemed like a surprise to everyone, including staff.

Ticket holders weren't even notified of the cancellation until last minute.

And if you didn't check your email, you were out of luck.

Hours before the scheduled taping, the show's producers sent out an email saying "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have canceled out taping for the date of your ticket reservation"

There have also been reports of the show being automatically removed from people's DVR's.

So is this a Comcast conspiracy or could Colbert want to be the nation's next president?
