Once upon a time there was a little boy named Ingram. He liked to stand in front of the mirror and pretend that he was Elvis. When he got a little older, he dropped acid, dropped out of Harvard Divinity School, and started a band.  

At a time when Rock was Rock and Country was Country and never the twain met, Gram Parsons almost singlehandedly brought American Music back to the root. He helped an entire generation of musicians to rediscover the joys of the Louvin Brothers, The Everlys, Merle Haggard and Sun Records. He also helped to launch the career of a young singer who is now the Grand Dame of Country Music, Emmylou Harris.

Once upon a time there were two sisters named Johanna and Klara Söderberg. Though they are Swedes, they are also among the foremost young exponents of the musical genre we now call "Americana." Their song "Emmylou" retells ond of the great love stories of our time.
