Sacramento, CA. alt-rockers Cake are back with a video for their song "Mustache Man".

Since 1991, Cake has been delivering punchy, sarcastic and highly musical albums to a hungry public. With Showroom of Compassion , the band broke new ground in several ways. First of all, the album was recorded in their own studio that had been retrofitted to 100% solar power. Secondly, there is piano on this one. Third, they covered a very odd Frank Sinatra tune from his concept albumcollaboration with the production team from The Four Seasons ("Watertown") - "What's Now Is Now." Even the packaging of the album is a departure from the mainstream, reflecting the band's serious commitment to environmentalism, using 100% recycled paper and vegetable inks.

The music, as is their custom, cracks you up and makes you want to dance. Mustache Man, in particular, drags you right in to the story of a tawdry interlude in a van outside a bar. Viva Mariachi!
