The 69th Annual Golden Globes Awards aired on Sunday and Ricky
Gervais hosted for the second year in a row. His hosting wasn't
popular last year, and this year wasn't much different. He took a
couple stabs at various celebrities. One of them being the most talked
about celebrity of the year-- Kim Kardashian.
He compared Kim to Kate Middleton--saying that Kim was a louder,
trashier, drunker and more easily bought version of the dutchess. He
also said that he has sat through James Cameron acceptance speeches
that were longer than her marriage. Kim says she "gets the joke" and
thought Ricky's jokes about her were funny.

Rickey Gervais also caused a lot of controversy when he outed Jodie
Foster later on in the night. As he was reading a list of topics that
he was not supposed to talk about he said:
"And I mustn't mention Mel Gibson this year. Not his private life,
his politics, his recent films or especially not Jodie Foster's
Beaver," "I haven't seen it myself, I've spoken to a lot of guys --
they haven't seen it either but that doesn't mean it's not good."


Cara from Chicago writes: Hey Jackie and Martina! Did you see
Madonna on the Golden Globes this wekend? She was pompous and rude on
the red carpet AND during her acceptance speech. I'm so sick of her!
 We are too, Cara! We never knew she was so rude until recently.
First, she loathes hydrangeas, now Ryan Seacrest? Jeez what's next?
