Dec 21, 2011 Top 5 New Years Resolutions

Coming in at number 5 is a common one for many, and that is to lose weight.
After indulging during the holidays, many of us come into the new year feeling gluttonous.
If you haven't already joined a gym, do so and get your butt moving. Group classes are a great way to stay motivated during work outs.
And don'y forget about your diet. One of my favorite ways to start the new year is to go on a detox to get me back on track with eating healthy. Whole Foods has a great 2 week body cleanse for only $14

In our number 4 spot is to drink less alcohol. This is a big contributor to weight gain during the holidays, and now its time to stay inside and cuddle up with some warm apple cider since all the holiday parties have finally come to an end.

The end of the year is always stressful at work, and some people get fed up. Our number 3 resolution is to get a new job, but only if you can't stand your current position.
The beginning of the year is the perfect time to begin looking for your dream job, especially when you have the flexibility of being employed during your search.

In at number 2 is to quit smoking. This is a hard habit to kick, but definitely worth a shot. The average smoker usually spends about $2500 a year. So I mean if that's not an incentive, I don't know what is.

And finally our number 1 New Years Resolution is … managing money. Its about that time of year when credit card bills come rolling in from our super sized Christmas extravaganzas. Therefore, its time to pay off your bills and start saving for next year.
