She began modeling at the age of three with Ford models-- appearing in
several ad campaigns as well as over 100 commericials

In 1998, she starred in Disney's remake of The Parent Trap which
earned her a Young Artist Award as well as a three-film contract with
Disney.

Her most commercially successful film was Freaky Friday which earned
160 million dollars worldwide

At 17, Lindsay became the youngest person to host the MTV Movie Awards in 2004

Her debut album, Speak was number four on the Billboard 200 in 2004,
and earned Plantinum status by 2005

In January 2007, Lindsay admitted herself Wonderland Center
rehabilitation facility for alcoholism but only had a 30 day stay.

Lohan pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine use and driving under the
influence in August 2007. She was sentenced to one day imprisonment
and 10 days community service.

On February 9, 2011, Lindsay was charged with the theft of a necklace
stolen from a jewelry store. She was sentenced to 120 days in jail,
360 hours of community service at a Women's Center, and 120 hours at
the L.A. County morgue for misdemeanor theft and probation violation.
But, she served under house arrest, wearing a tracking ankle monitor,
for 35 days.
