Green fashion advice from host Annabella and Joshua Katcher.

Joshua Katcher is the ethical fashion expert from thediscerningbrute.com.

To him, shopping ethically means shopping second hand as much as possible. "The majority of my outfit is actually from thrift stores." The pants, sweater and button down shirt are all from vintage stores.

He adds to that a vegan motorcycle jacket, always a symbol of rebellion, but especially when it's not made from leather.

Katcher is also bringing back Pinnacle Magazine. Describing it as "anti-fur in a really fun cool way" it's meant to be an anti-cruelty perspective from inside the fashion industry.

"Fur represents luxury for various reasons, but to claim that fur can be sourced ethically, that it came from an animal that died naturally - that's a stretch," according to Katcher.

He also speaks about the intentional disconnect between animals and fashion. "I think  it's intentional on both the part of producers and consumers. Consumers don't want to know that something horrible is happening."

The process of creating leather or fur is brutal, says Katcher. "It's not something we want to have to think about when we're going shopping for fun."
