Miami-based artist Qwote put his name on the map working with artists like Danity Kane, Wayne Wonder, Shaggy and Trina. Now, the energetic performer has teamed up with rapper Pitbull, for his own single 'Throw Your Hands

Qwote was born in Haiti, but raised on Long Island and then Miami (which he currently calls home). His first big break was when Slip-n-Slide Records brought him in to work with Trina. He's also gotten lots of props for his work with Shaggy, Danity Kane and Wayne Wonder. His first album, "Qwote Un Qwote," established him as a solid artist in his own right.

Now he's teamed up with Pitbull for the single "Throw Your Hands Up." Based on a song by French artist Lucenzo, the song made a big splash in the Miami club scene. The video features recognizable locales from the beach to the clubs.

There's also a verse or two in Spanish, and Qwote has commented that he's happy with how the song and the video brings various cultures together.
