 5) The Rev. Al Sharpton and the legendary Bootsie Collins have released a song honoring James Borwn.

 4) Social Distortion has released the new video for Machine Gun Blues. It's a short film that Mike Ness claims was just an excuse for the band to "act like ten year olds and play with guns."

3) The feature film Hesher looks to be rocker. And turns out the lead character was based on original Metallic guitarist Cliff Burton.

2) This week marks the 34th anniversary of the best snow slopes east of the Appalachians - Studio 54.
