Catherine Zeta Jones put a brave face on her mental health battle as she took a stroll with her daughter Carys at the weekend – the first time she’s been spotted since the sad news broke. 

The Welsh actress announced last week that she’s suffering from bipolar II disorder and her publicist confirmed she had checked into the Silver Hill psychiatric hospital in Connecticut  after she’d struggled to cope with a series of traumatic events.

She says she is trying to remain positive as Being negative isn’t good for her personality.

Reps for Scarlett Johansson insist the actress is not pregnant, following the release of photos last week showing her looking a tad heavy. The pics led to a flood of speculation that she and new boyfriend Sean Penn are expecting a delivery soon. 

 her spokesman fumed. ‘She is in the best shape of her life. It’s simply the placement of her shirt in one picture that is misleading.’ 

But pregnant or not, there is little doubt that things with Penn are moving pretty swiftly. Friends of Scarlett say she has ‘essentially moved in with Sean over the past few weeks’.
