Oct 03, 2010 The Social Network - Press Junket Conference Part 1

I was recently invited to cover The Social Network press conference.  After seeing the movie it was a no brainer.  The problem, I was stuck in Florida on a project.  What amazed me was Sony, who obviously knows they have lighting in a bottle with this movie, took the time to hire a professional video crew to record the event.   The result is a professionally shot video of screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, Justin Timberlake, Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer talking about The Social Network.

During the 40 minute press conference they revealed what it was like to work for David Fincher, the amount of takes they did and why they didn’t mind, fact vs. fiction, and so much more.  As you will see,  it was one of the best press conferences presented in years.

Please to enjoy...

The Social Network -  Press Junket Conference

On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications. From director David Fincher and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin comes The Social Network, a film that proves you don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca, and Ceán Chaffin and based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by Ben Mezrich.
