Most of us have trouble sticking to our New Year’s resolutions but in fewer than 5 days Lindsay Lohan has managed to break hers. On New Years Eve Lindsay said she wasn’t going to have any more drama in her life, less than a week later  she and her best friend Patrick are publicly at each others throats via twitter. Lindsay accusing her ex-bff of stealing her design ideas from her new clothing range and Patrick claiming that her design range doesn’t even exist! And there goes our resolution to not talk about LiLo in 2010!

Beyonce Knowles has caused some bizarre headlines recently, including ‘Beyonce parties with terrorists’- this is due to the performance that Beyonce gave on New Year’s Eve-(for a fee of $1.2million) in St Barts for  Moutassim Gaddafi- son of Libyan dictator. He also goes by the nickname Hannibal! Looks like the Beyonce halo, may be looking a little tarnished!

The oscar committee have made some controversial choices over the years but Jennifer Lopez believes that the voters over-looked one exceptional performance recently- hers! The actress says she deserves an Oscar for her role in El cantante- a pet project she made with husband Marc Anthony- Only a few people saw it and even fewer liked it. The San Francisco chronicle called it ‘her least convincing performance to date’.!

Kanye West has been laying low since his embarrassing Taylor Swift invasion- but a new year and there’s a new Kanye-kind of- Kanye has climbed out of his box to predict that in time he will be as revered as icon Nina Simone. He has rambled on about how he is a poet and will show the truth. He says as other rappers get worse- he is getting better- good to know Kanye!

This week’s hero is Elin Nordegren who, aaccording to a tabloid, when asked by friends what her playboy husband Tiger Woods gave her for Christmas, she replied “ Three hundred million dollars, thank you very much”.

Villain of the week Is Tyra Banks, who announced over the New Year that this would be the last season of her Oprah wannabe chat show. Employees are not the saddened bunch you would expect in a recession- instead they are quite relieved, one crew member explained how there was a huge turnover of employees as it was very tough working with Tyra who apparently behaves as a real diva.
