Introductions & Reto Departure
Role Call: Osyris, Jonny-B, Kat, Dutchie, Reto; tonight's special guest is Lady T (Osyris' new leading lady!?). We then give a much longer than expected intro filled with too much information. We also announce Wild-Reto will be off the show at least until 2010 once he is settled in his new home and job (away from the Battle Cat) in Seuzach, near Winterthur (northeast of Zürich).
80th Anniversary of the 1929 Wall Street Crash

Recording Studio 4.0 Breakdown (and UPS rant)
Jonny-B gives us an over view of his new mic setup, an audio-technica AT4050 Multi-pattern Condenser Microphone (plus other stuff he got), and the new Mac OSX (White Leopard) Server now running the Mac Pro (plus other stuff we've improved upon). Then Jonny-B rants about UPS fails (Osyris also jumps into the fray).
Basic Brewing Radio/Video Plug
We pimp Basic Brewing.com and its audio and video podcasts because we can!
No Agenda Reality Check
Osyris and Jonny-B critique (and sometimes go off on) on Adam Curry, John C. Dvorak and No Agenda. Specifically, the amount of pay they are expecting to push their show to three days a week and how Adam handled an e-mail from Osyris, plus some other stuff.
Morrow Brewing Update
Jonny-B helped his neighbor brew today, plus he get us caught up on what's on tap at Morrow Brewing and what is coming down the pipeline: Irish Red Ale, Redhook ESB (on tap), English Brown Ale (on tap), Belgian White (almost ready), Pumpkin Ale, Jonny-B's Amber Alt Ale.
Lisbon Treaty Almost Signed
Osyris confront Wild-Reto on what his beloved homeland Switzerland will done once the EU become a more unified entity.

Obama/Biden Green Economic Plan
Dutchie examines the "New Energy for America" plan set out by President Obama and other related stuff (like the Kyoto Protocol and Copenhagen conference on climate change, etc). Osyris rants/critiques on the broader issues related to this topic.

Dutchie brings up a interesting question from a young (black) boy asking President Obama why people heat him; and we try to analyze it.
New Super Touch Mac Mouse
Jonny-B talks about the new Mac Super Mouse.
Balloon Boy Update
Kitty-Kat updates us (with Osyris; help) about the Balloon Boy saga: everything and everyone says this is a hoax, even the mom sass so!
The Return of Failblog.org
Jonny-B brings back a classic: failblog.org. We also scoop Fmylife.com and texts from last night.com before getting into a rant about what the UA means to be "used for advertising" (also applies to Twitter and other social media networks).
BBC Allows BNP on Question Time
Osyris divvies out kudos points to the BBC for allowing the British Nationalist Party on their popular panel discussion show Question Time and rants about those who are whining about.
Australian Minster E-Mail Chain letter
We take on an e-mail chain letter about Australian Prime Minister John Howard talking about Muslims and immigrants within Australia. [However, after we recorded this episode, it seems we need to examine this e-mail letter… figures. We'll address this on the next show briefly. See link below.)
7 November 2009 Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day
Coming soon is the Brewers Association's Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day on November 7th. This sparks Osyris to propose a new way to address unknowns and myths about brewing.
