Josie's Story isn't a good one. Josie's Story, the new book by Sorrel King, Josie's mother, is about the few days that Josie King spent in the hospital before she died, and it was caused by medical mishandling. It becomes more poignant at a time in which we are nationally obsessed with health care reform. Mrs. King was not about to take this lying down, wrote the book and started the Josie King Foundation, which aims to fund research into better medical practices, both financial and actual. The foundation that the Josie's Story book will benefit takes cash, or even stock options from companies to relieve a little tax debt with charitable write offs.
