Screenwriter Todd Farmer penned the script for Messengers 2: The Scarecrow and he's front and center in this edition of Horror House. Messengers 2 is out on DVD July 21st, 2009 from Ghost House Pictures.

Farmer got his start with Jason X. He's the man who put Jason Vorhees into space. His next two screenplays were consecutive number one hits: 2007's The Messenger and the recent My Bloody Valentine 3D. This time Farmer has put his creepy little pen on the prequel to Messengers, starring Kristen Stewart. In Messengers 2: The Scarecrow, we learn the story of John Rollins -- a simple North Dakota farmer who's trying to keep his family together while saving his farm. But there's a nasty scarecrow between him and pastoral bliss... 

Messengers 2: The Scarecrow goes back to the farm to finally learn the story of John Rollins -- the simple North Dakota farmer, struggling to save his farm and hold his family together.  When he places a mysterious scarecrow in his field, his luck changes for the better...but it may be at the cost of his sanity.
