I met Mariah Mellus when I was working at SLUG Magazine and she started reviewing Gallery Stroll. Along with her husband Derek they were two of my best friends during the SLUG years.
 

Now she works for the SLC Film Center. We talk about the Film Center's screening of "What's On Your Plate?" a documentary about two school-age sisters who ask incisive questions about where our food comes from, what's in it, and what it's doing to us, that make some people feel awkward. We also share some awkward memories from SLUG years.
