Great episode as per usual, however in regards to the New York Air Force One flyover it must be noted that the presidential Air Force One fleet does indeed have 2 VC-25s (747s) in its fleet that are maintained by the USAF.
"Since 1990, the presidential fleet has consisted of two specifically configured, highly customized Boeing 747-200B series aircraft – tail codes Special Air Mission (SAM) "28000" and SAM "29000" – with Air Force designation "VC-25A". While these aircraft are referred to as "Air Force One" only while the president is on board, the term is commonly used to describe either of the two aircraft normally used and maintained by the U.S. Air Force solely for the president"

I own a hospital pharmacy. We cannot get Tamiflu from our drug wholesalers. We DO have a stockpile that Homeland Security has given us (since 2001, they keep emergency stockpiles in hospitals). We are getting more tomorrow from them.
I suspect that this relates to your question about the FDA. One or the other is controlling the supply, because in the past we've always been able to get Tamiflu from the wholesale supplier.
If you are interested, I will let you know when that changes. The situation is very similar to when we go to war and have morphine shortages. Or when there is an anthrax scare and have ciprofloxacin shortages. They control the pipeline.
When the "real" one comes, only those who submit will have the drugs available, in my opinion.
