March 23, 2009 - "Mylow" - MYLOW's All-Magnetic Motor based on Howard Johnson's Design - YouTube user "Mylow" of Chicago has apparently successfully replicated and is now open sourcing the late Howard Johnson's all-magnet motor, Stonehenge model, that Johnson worked on in the early 1980s to demonstrate to the U.S. Patent Office.

    magnetic repulsion motors slowly exhaust the field in the magnets;
    once the field is gone, the motor no longer works; when Mylow's motor
    runs for 10 days without stopping, we'll all get excited; unitl then,
    it's just one more magnet motor winding it's way to a slow death.
