YDN designguide HD Personality of Lights by Designer Asif Khan

MEVIOtoday

Mar 11, 2009 Personality of Lights by Designer Asif Khan

From architechture to light fixtures, Asif Khan is a structural master. In Tokyo, Japan, Khan shares the developmental history of his Tetra Light Exhibition. What began as a creative gift exchange with British artist Peter Liversage, his next-door neighbor, evolved into an extremely popular and well known light module.

The lights, made up of a number of different pieces, can be put together as the user desires, somewhat like legos or tinker toys. Kahn hopes that the lights, and how they are assembled might be able to reflect the identity of the user.
