The whole studio and even equipment has been overhauled Candyman. I used to use the all virtual studio exclusively, now I have a home setup, that consists of extrnal device mainly, all mixed through a combination of standard analog mixer and some digital patching through a mac.
Unfortunately the mac beta of skype 4 does not seem to have an agc anywhere.

Good show, Adam, pretty varied topics and nice to hear the phone lines working as well. Somehow the sound quality was better than at Guildford, at least your voice sounded more pleasant. I am not sure whether that is just perception, or perhaps due to different acoustics in your new studio (which seems to produce a less drier sound than the one in Guildford).
Regarding AGC on Skype 4 (beta): Under Extra - Settings you will find an Audio Settings icon. Clicking that will show a Mic volume setting, with an option to have automatic gain control by Skype on or off. I usually have it turned off and put the Mic volume setting to Max. I find Skype 4 a huge improvement over Skype 3, especially when it comes to recording for podcasts.
Thanks also for referring to Yo Agenda . I can hardly believe it myself, but Yo Agenda will be 1 year old as of this Friday... As long as No Agenda provides us with enough to talk about, CSB and I will continue to enjoy doing the first ever answer show in podcasting! ;-)

Adam, sorry for not expressing it clearly - but it is sometimes so that you don't speak aloud what you think as you think that it is already widely know.
So I wanted to say "I agree, support and endorse what Czech Republic as EU presidency will do, mainly referring to THE FACT THAT CZECHS ARE for EU AS FEDERATION OF *INDEPENDENT* STATES AND NOT AS UNITED STATES OF EUROPE".
