I love your show, my favorite pass-time when I'm on BART is to listen to your show epiosdes.

Six days without a DSC show now?
Five days since the most recent pic on Flickr.
Four days since the latest No Agenda.
Three days since a man was killed by Police in Guildford.

I think I'm paranoid, but where's Adam? If he was 'taken out', then wouldn't authorities cover it up with another story or name to avoid questions from the many listeners? I've seen no photos of the named victim.

Wolvescan here and as one of your original listeners (Curry Cottage era) I am going to have to slash you with my hockey stick again. The Royal Bank of Canada is not Canada's central bank. It is just one of Canada's major banks. Canada's central bank is the Bank of Canada and is run by the government of Canada. You quoted the Financial Post as say the Royal Bank could not get any money. I think you got the story wrong. Canada's Banks are rated #1 in the world (see Financial Post Article http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2008/10/09/it-s-official-canada-has-the-world-s-soundest-banking-system.aspx).

Unlike Americans, Canadians cannot write off the interest on their mortgages against their income taxes. The dream of every Canadian is to be debt free and our country is behind the Americans in owning cars, boats, vacation homes and really big houses we cannot afford because we are not so leveraged.

I am not saying Canadian Banks and Canadians are struggling in the financial depression. Our banks have lost money on US Toxic debt too. Even worse our major trade partner is America and we have serious layoffs in business like auto parts, lumber and furniture which export the bulk of their production to America.

The only thing saving us right now is our oil currency the Loonie has dropped in value like a barrel of oil. We are hoping for 60 cents this winter so we can continue to sell oil, beef and grain.

Hi Adam,

Really enjoyed the Thanksgiving episode (DSC-808) but one comment that your voice track on the podcast sounded different almost as if the sound of a jangling chain had been mixed in under the vocal. This became slightly irritating after a while. Have you been fiddling with the settings on Ableton again?

Truman Show Syndrome is an old thing and spawned mainly by big brother and other reality TV shows.

yes, Czech Republic takes over presidency of EU for 6 months. Czechs are Slavic and the fist new EU country to assume presidency. He is a good guy and Czechs generally are superb people with the best beer in the world (Budweiser comes from Czech republic originaly!) and they are very independent too. Love em too.
