Indeed welcome to SS episode 19 for the 14 ^th November 2008 –

Now you may have heard or you may have noticed the URL change that our hosting company Podshow is now called Mevio. Now back to the show.

I have been resolving to make the Special Selection a more regular show and so to this end I will be choosing tracks for a regular new to PMN special selection, to bring you more music, more contrast, more comparing, more artists, more males, more females, more bands, more rock, more roll, more folk, more stroll, and , well just more shows!.

So two tracks that appeared on the PMN listing of the 12 ^th November are featured today. One male, one female, one Canadian, one German.

We start with Melissa Rebronja, (pronounced REBRONYA), a prolific singer/songwriter with two independent CD's Embrace Yourself & You'll Be Mine. Airplay on Canadian Radio with BRAVO TV video track "Beautiful" and her own version of "Wonderwall", which reached a top 50 download with CDBaby.com.

Melissa Rebronja: EMBRACE YOURSELF (released 2003)
S incere, moving, and heartfelt, expressing her life experiences through song. A unique blend of former Yugoslavian and Canadian culture, the album is altogether organic, sometimes ethnic and inspirited with pop. A genre she calls “Soulful Acoustic Pop - with Balkan influences”. The music propels you to listen, invites you to sing along, and incites a bodily groove. Her version of "Wonderwall" has reached the top 50 for most downloaded songs with CDBaby.
Her single " Beautiful " & her version of " Wonderwall " are being aired on Canadian radio. Her video for song "Beautiful" was featured on BRAVO. This album is available on iTunes and CDBaby.com.

Melissa Rebronja: YOU'LL BE MINE (released 2007)
April 2007 marks the anticipated release of EMAR's second album entitled "You'll Be Mine" which includes a sweet rendition of Coldplay's "Beautiful World" and radio singles "Summertime" and "Best For Me". This album is available on iTunes and CDBaby.com .

EMAR: Sacred Soul   (released 2008)
