Why are you so surprised at there being a disproportionate number of black people imprisoned in California for marijuana use? The US justice system is replete with examples of injustice, particularly against black people and poor people, but potentially against anybody.
One that particularly angers me is the sentence of life without possibility of parole for juveniles on a first offence! (Typically for armed robbery, not murder.)

The Australian net censorship scheme is only designed to filter web traffic, so will not block most of what they want to block anyway. The experts are saying that it will yield a very high rate of false page rejections and no expert believes it can work as well as the government expects. The only real effects will be a slower web (which is already slow in Australia because it relies heavily on international links), and higher costs for ISPs. Also, the government is claiming that there is public demand for filtering web content, yet the Australian government offers free web filters to anyone who wants them and almost nobody has taken up the offer.

Tech question. Why no buffering on YouTube like there is in Mevio or other players. I go to Mevio and have to wait for buffering. Hey Adam, I am a New Podcast listener...started with No 800! Appreciative of what you say to the world!!!! My comment is the following....Whay are almost all of the videos on U-Tube regarding Electromagnetic Free Energy No Longer available for viewing...I was curious after listening about the bit on 801 regarding John Krist invention in Austrailia "Free Energy Home generator".... Seems almost all of the other associated video clips have been removed?...Keep infornig the world!!!!!!!!
