I can see the amount of comments regarding No Agenda increasing episode by episode. This is a positive development!

Hopefully Mevio.com's latest dish "Spaghetti Codigo a la Mevio" is able to support this trend, by making it easier to post and read comments.

John, you need to do a little more research on US oil reserves. The oil companies already have leased on land that they could drill on but choose not to that would tap 80% of those reserves. Why don't they?

1. There is no profit in it! Oil revenues from new drilling are years away and the costs would be quarter to quarter. Bad for dividends and bonuses.

2. To benefit from new drilling would require building new refineries. Again this doesn't work in quarter to quarter thinking. Again, bad for dividends and bonuses.

3. Additional oil supply would lower the price! Duh! This is not what they want. High prices mean they get more for less. Why work more? Why risk investment that only lowers prices. Bad for dividends and bonuses.

4. "Drill, baby, drill!" allows the discussion of energy issues to mire in the muck and real discussions, and possibly solutions, which can only hurt the oil companies never happen.

5. If "Drill, baby, drill!" were to happen, all it would do is increase the amount of drillable lands that they have leases to from the current 80%.

BTW, Adam I'm with you on the conspiracy stuff. There is A LOT of idiocy in the conspiracy crap out there but that is by design. It allows the establishment to poo-poo the "crazies". The truth is that the establishment controls the parameters of debate. John, you challenge the establishment memes but accept the parameters they set.

Wow, I think you guys really missed the boat. I'm in full agreement that Palin did what she had to do which was not look stupid as stupid as she has in the interviews. I don't believe she convinced anyone that she has any depth. She certainly didn't convince anyone who hasn't already decided to vote for McCain to jump aboard. Biden, as well did what he had to do was to appear competent.

So, for Palin at least, she solidified the base but no more. I don't expect any bump for McCain because of this.

Notes: Bosniak or Bosniac is the CORRECT term. I agree that most of Americans probably don't know that but they don't care either.

Most Americans don't know there isn't a General McClellan either but they may take note of error as they learn of it which they did if they listened to the post debate commentary.

Guys, I'm not gonna comment on most of the inane things you said during the podcast. There is one however that is so embarrassing that you should make a correction on your next show: you both poured your derision over Joe's use of the word "Bosniak". However, "Bosniak" is the proper English word for one of Bosnia's ethnic groups, and "Bosnian" is not an exact synonym. Next time I suggest you check the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosniaks) before you make a fool of yourselves.

I share CSB's concern about the Mevio web site, although I would never use the kind of language he is using. As an example, the show notes and subtitles I made for Yo Agenda 50 have all disappeared again. Very demotivating!

In general it seems to be more difficult now to post comments and to find comments that have been posted.

I am not too happy about the autoplay on the main page of mevio.com eiter. If the video would rotate, or if something would be served randomly, ok, but now it is the same video every time I land there. How is that helping to keep people on the site? I think they will just run away after having seen the same video every time they come to mevio.com?

I agree that she is hot, but she does not have high-class beauty... although obviously it is all culture and race dependent...

PS. new design of mevio is EXTREMELY BAD - whoever designed it is an imbecile and an amateur. It is paifully bad. New design of MEVIO is worse than shit. It is simply total crap. I recommend: fire all designers and developers and implement whole Mevio on the cloud (google app engine combined with amazon e2).
