I think you're slipping down the rabbit hole a little too fast. There is no new world order. The world would be better off if there was one. Did the thought ever cross your mind that "they" are doing it for our own good? Perhaps this cabal of behind the scenes rulers are out to help us out. The planet is a mess and could use a good management team to run it. So what if they have a bigger piece of the pie. They deserve it!

alphaxion : right, you are. Note also that if USA loves UK so much then why Brits can't move to USA and live in USA without any permits/visas - like Brits can in whole EU? I am speaking about living for ever and not about tourist visits.

about the "ignorance" over british distaste of american political actions..
I notice the massive omission by the british news rag over how many times the US has screwed the UK over when it came to agreements.
Don't get me wrong, I'm making a distinction between the peoples and the state, because it has always been the state - the peoples of both countries are fantastic... but the one way system that is the "special relationship" between our two countries has ALWAYS been at the detriment of the UK.
Evidence? well, we have the demands for Einstine and others to be sent over to the US for nuclear research with the promise of sharing that which was discovered, as soon as the bomb was developed from it the US renaged on its deal and refused to share.
The US government demanded immediate payment of debt at the end of the 2nd world war, causing the UK to remain in poverty and rations until the mid 50's and the UK has only just paid off the last of the debt in the past 5 years.
Great friendship there. Truely a display of solidarity.
Then we have the one way demands - big ones at the moment are extradition and data transfer, where the UK is expected to hand it over but if it's a US citizen the gates only go one way.
Keep screwing the UK over and the US government will continue to piss off the general population.. but then, I doubt that there ever was a declairation of independence, since ever since we have effectively acted as a single entity anyway.
Maybe it is all a sham and both nations are using each other to get their intended end results regardless of world opinion.
Who knows, all I can say is that both the UK and the US get up to really shitty actions that only result in the average citizen suffering!

Adam, I don't feel braindead, so speak for yourself only, mate!
why don't you talk about tech a little bit? or about media. I reallly really am bored already of you talking about politics. TV talks about politics. you talk about politics. TV boring. you become boring.
where are promos of podcasts? and, with all due respect, a bit too much of British topics - DSC is becoming mostly British podcast.
too much asskissing Adam! And you even cut off guys after they stop asskissing you.
