Let's have a go at the Nylon
Tear him a new one with a smile on

LOL, excellent show. Reminds me of the good old days when you'd get pissed at CSB and the Bloated Lesbian.

The challenge of large scale applications is enough to make most people's eyes water. The last time I checked, Google was spending about $300-400 million per quarter to continue building out an infrastructure that includes dozens of server farms housing tens of thousands of servers. I spoke to a Google engineer who described their hard disk replacement strategy - all I could say was WOW.

Adam - though I do not want want to take up a lot of your show time with promos, I would ask that you occasionally include a link back to the Atomic Insights Blog (http://atomicinsights.blogspot.com) in your show notes so that people can go there to find out more of the story. Some of the questions that you ask need some technical explanations that I simply cannot fit into a minute and a half.

Your openness for trying new things and talking about subjects that many consider to be taboo are both reasons why I continue to listen to the show whenever you get around to producing it. As a busy man myself, I cannot help but admire just how many times you have managed to put out a great show. I have been podcasting for more than two years and and just now approaching show 100 for The Atomic Show.

    Keep up the good work

WOW as I said in a personal email to you Adam. Stand the F up and scream. Who asked you for a contract. I sure did not. I think you trained the listners to expect a daily show. However most of us live in the real world stuff happens. The show is what it is.

Hi Adam, Loved your rebuttal of NYLON's ill-informed rant. I work in IT and getting things to work is damned hard even if you are lucky enough to use a Mac. I really appreciate the generosity of people like yourself and John C. Dvorak who provide free content for the delectation and amusement of like-minded people around the globe. Keep up the great work, Derek Bolli, North Sydney, Australia, Folder, love your hair, hope you win, 9 quota and it's only Thursday here, love you, no shirtlifter, they work for us :)

See my email entitled "USA", Adam!

I love how that peotry chick proununced "O.R.G."!! it sounded like ORGY!!! hah!

it was delight to hear Nylon! who cares who he is? as far as I am concerned he may be Santa Claus' Helper or Quasimodo. He is fun! Hah hah hah hah.

flying Pat's bag, heh? come on, buy yourself private jet (come on, life is too short to save!) and then you'll be able to fly her too ;-)

speaking of Google infrastructure: I recommend Google App Engine from Google that can handle any traffic/scale because it is running on Google servers, thousands of them!
