Okay, I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I absolutely do not support any kind of these restrictions.

    Peace ;-)

"of course Roma, Romania, the Gypsy issue and the proposal is absurd" - is what you said, Willow! You have not clearly said whether your support this restriction of freedom or not. Sorry if I misunderstood it.

    Anyway: peace out, Willow!

Uhm, CBS, please send me a quote of what I said that makes you think my answer was "I agree with Italian government" and where I am attacking "attacking me ad hominem ". I clearly remember saying that the Italian proposal is absurd. In my vocabulary absurd does not mean I agree, but on the contrary means I disagree.

And remember... I am not a EU citizen so I have less freedom than other EU foreigners in Italy. Hey, I can't even check in online with Ryanair because I don't have a EU document.

And perhaps I am lame with not running onto the streets and protesting, but I have to pick my battles and right now that is not one of them.

    I accept your apology.

    HighlanderInOz,

the situation in Italy is tragic, not comic. I was soliciting feedback from Willow and I got it, but note that her answer was more or less "I agree with Italian government" and instead addressing issues - suspension of basic EU right - right to freedom of movement - she is attacking me ad hominem . So OK she is not too scared to speak out, I owe her apology. However I am disappointed wit her answer. After all her brother is promoting "live your live with freedom!" but she add in her mind "but not if you are of certain citizenship, even if it is EU citizenship"

    Comic Stip Blogger,

You need to drop the Comic, because you aren't very funny. I think you should stick to comics until you learn how to react with real people.

    Adam:

Great show and great comments about NuClear energy. You are getting warmer.

There are very powerful people that benefit from instilled fear of all things nuclear. The "waste issue" has long been the official trump card designed to end all discussion about the use of nuclear fission as a solution to our energy challenges.

My strong belief is that the pushers LOVE having billions of oil addicts. They HATE the idea that there is an available, clean, reliable energy source that actually beats their own "crack".

Mind you, I actually LIKE the freedom provided by burning fossil fuels. I love flying (in commercial planes), going fast on motor boats, and driving around the country on my own schedule. I respect the efforts of nearly everyone in the technical portions of the fossil business - their job is not easy and their product is very useful. I just have a beef with some of the marketers and decision makers and the people who capture most of the rewards that come from selling a resource in a market where demand exceeds supply - especially since the limited supply is partially the result of hamstringing the competition.

I am not a big fan of taking public transit because it simply does not go where I need to go when I need to go there and it limits my ability to carry my "stuff" (as George Carlin would say).

Unlike nearly everyone else in the world, I have been lucky enough to experience a world where atomic fission supplied all of my power and propulsion needs for months at a time. It was an amazing process that showed me that there simply was not much waste involved and certainly no routine pollution. As a submariner we were naturally very concerned about any possibility that we were leaving a trail that could be detected. We were also very concerned and careful about our own atmosphere and water.

If you or your listeners want to learn more about recycling fission byproducts, go to atomicinsights.com or atomicinsights.blogspot.com and search for "recycling waste". If you want to find out what others say, try expanding to a web search with Google and use "recycling nuclear waste".

Warning: you will find a variety of opinions and statements masquerading as facts. Take all that you read with a bit of skepticism, including what you read on my web sites. Keep asking hard questions and think for yourself.

BTW - I do work for the government. I am a mid grade staff officer in the US Navy who has been driving a desk in DC for the last 7 years. My service started in 1977. My career has been a bit on the unconventional side; I only influence decision makers; and I speak only for myself when interacting on the Internet.

What a lame answer of Willow was it! Throwing "fuck you" at a concerned EU citizen? Naughty girl! Needs spanking.

The suggestion to use female-only voice for prevention talk = pure gold, and very good idea!... and Adam please just write some text and ask some Mevio girls to say it aloud instead of talking about it yourself. German guy is right.
