Myth: Movie stars get special treatment and face mild, if any, reprocussions for their idiotic behavior.
This just in: Paramount Pictures has officially cut ties with Tom Cruise, choosing NOT to re-up his contract. Reason: (loosely quoted) "Mr. Cruise's odd behavior is costing the studio money." The studio spokesperson also said something along the lines of 'His personal life seems to be overshadowing his work life.'
A long-awaited sign of change? Wonder how long 'till Mel Gibson gets the ax?
Myth: Fuel efficiency is considered, but engine power is the most important factor in American consumers' vehicle purchases.
This just in: Not anymore! A new poll shows fuel efficiency is now the MOST important factor in determining which vehicle American consumers' will drive off of the lot.
