Someone has asked me how we record the show. It's really pretty basic. We both wear quite simple Creative HS-300 headsets and plug them into an adapter which takes the mic signal into the one mic input on a laptop.
We then record straight into Audacity in mono, a pretty good (and free) recording program and then, once saved as a WAV file we open this in Castblaster add the shownotes and automatically upload to our podshow account.
If I'm being honest, I doubt we'd have got this far if it wasn't for podshow making it as simple as they have to become a podcaster... and we're actually pretty tech savvy, so I imagine it'd be an even greater hill to climb for the non-techs out there.
