	i LOVE lifetime tv here in america. its back to back frasier and golden girls and then an assortment of made for tv movies called Lies And Crime etc. It takes my mind off the spot on my forehead which is developing a personality all of its own. Went to the show in Long Beach last night which was fabulous, of course. I managed to have a chat with Rabbit. He is very sad and lost about Sue. She is his best friend. I gave him a big hug and told him he has good friends. What can you say to a man who is losing his wife? Hes an adorable fellow and we all care for him a lot. We have the day off today and plan to do very little. I might have a burger. Finally, i think we should all send out love for Ms Spears. I was 25 years old when i went into rehab. Although our situations are a world apart, when i see photos of her in the magazines this week, she is like a reflection of me at my worst time. I feel for her and hope she gets some recovery. Life is wonderful really. Love Rachel.xx

	super piece in the NY post today about the Joes Pub gig. It makes me very happy. Pete is playing on Fresno tonight, and i am going to play with my friend Kathy who has 8 dogs. We're ordering food from the daily grill and getting some dog love. she also has the best wardrobe to play in. - heaven. I'm starting to prepare for the LA show. I love my job. I'm driving to Kathys, so i'd stay off the road if i were you. Love Rach.xx ps joes pub will only be up on towser TV for one more day, so go see if you havent already

	Dear All, So, Joes pub was a super smashing gig. Everyone performed brilliantly. It was amaaaaaazing. there was a fantastic review on the front page of rolling stones website - and although i dont get a mention as a performer - i have to accept i'm still doing my time there, and its all good! Rachael Yamagata is my new BEST FRIEND, i cant tell you how fabulous she is, not just as a performer but as a girl. My cup of tea.Amos Lee and J mascis were also brilliant and then there was Lou (Reed). MINDFUCKINGLY WONDERFUL. is all i can say, words cannot express. and throughout the entire show, Pete played the best ever. I cant imagine hosting a show now without Jimmy Fallon. Adorable. Car wash for Peace, one oft he 2 songs he played, should be a national anthem. so, hellish flight into LA, 2 hours on the runway. but i slept and although i was up at 5.30am here, am feeling most perky.
