Alice Cooper

The original Alice Cooper Group was one of the greatest bands in the world and those records are still in regular rotation on my stereo after all of these years. Have a listen to the live version of No More Mr. Nice Guy on the Podsafe Music Network and you will agree. It sounds as good today as it did in 1973! Also, check out Wensday's cover of Only Women Bleed.

Those Dancing Days

They definitely live up to the hype. Swedish girl group, Those Dancing Days, are “sweet as apple-pie pop.” Stellar vocals, driving Hammond organ, and cute as buttons musicians. Check out their Wichita released tracks, “1000 Words” and self-titled “Those Dancing Days.”

Fu Manchu

Stoner rock. Desert rock. Doom. Sludge. Call it what you will, Fu Manchu does it well. Think of the heaviness of Black Sabbath in the 70s and the catchy hooks of the Foo Fighters thrown into the blender with some retro psychedelic sounds. check them out on the PMN, bonus points if you can figure out what is going on in the video.

Absolution Project

Amy Mac: "I found this band based on their influences (Tool, Sevendust) and kept coming back to them because they always have something to suit my mood. They are out of Rochester, NY and have just the right balance of great sound and heavy metal attitude."
